ABOUT SANKET
They say having a child gives you perspective.
One evening my wife told me we should start brushing Ayan's teeth. She'd seen it on an Instagram reel. My first thought: what else am I missing, only because the right reel never crossed my feed? And if I was missing the small things, I was missing the big ones too. In the whole universe of who Ayan could become, what was I deliberately passing on? The things I'm proud of and want him to carry, the things I struggled with and want to stop with me. I had no way to work on either, week after week. I was leaving the most important part of this to chance.
I've spent fifteen years building enterprise products in security and privacy. The job is always the same: take a messy, high-stakes problem and turn it into a system people can trust. And here I was, winging the one that mattered most. So I did the only thing I know how to do. I built the system.
Albus is that system. You tell it what you value. You text it what you notice: a new word, an odd habit, a bedtime that fell apart. Every two weeks it sends back a short report that is actually about your kid, built from real research and from what you said matters. Not fifty things to fix. Two or three, grounded in your values, worth trying.
I'm not here to add another app. I'm giving you the thing I wanted: a way to parent on purpose. The heirlooms you're proud of, you hand down by choice. The baggage you're not, you set down. One small action a week, and your kid starts a little ahead of where you did.
